May Short Story - An App for That (Part 2)
Added 2022-05-28 00:15:45 +0000 UTCAs I suggested would be the case in my Progress Report earlier, I did manage to get the editing pass done on An App for That (Part 2). I'm mostly happy with how it turned out. The one thing I'm not completely satisfied with is that it didn't get as far along as I'd have liked, despite being over 5,300 words. I'd hoped to get more into the mental commands and alterations sections for Sandra...but I felt it was important to build up to that so that the whole thing doesn't come off as rapey.
Part 2 ended up being dedicated mostly to that build-up so that the eventual Part 3 can start really messing around with mental alterations without it being...disturbing. I know that sort of thing doesn't bother a lot of people in a purely fictitious settings...but I personally consider it sort of feeding bad mental processes to just discard it as 'it's only a story.' Though I try to balance that with making even the relationship and safety building bits fun...
