Progress Report

Alright, I promised I'd do one more of these at end-of-month, so here it is. As expected, I haven't managed to catch up. Renders are effectively done for all animations and about 95% of the stills, with the remaining few stills likely to be finished tonight. I've also coded/written and edited Talia's 3 initial scenes, plus the two threesome scenes available in the first week of the game. That's...basically exactly on target for what I predicted with my previous progress report. A tiny bit better, actually, particularly as I'm still going to put in another couple of hours of work tonight, but not really a big difference from my prediction.

That also means that my prediction for how long the delay will be is likely pretty close to accurate. For those that weren't paying attention, that prediction was that I should be done on roughly the 5th. Possibly a day earlier or later, depending on how things go. And always subject to major problems that pop up. As I said before as well, I'm not predicting this to really affect March's Haven's Port Build. Not only is the new GPU speeding up render times, but since I'm basically 100% done on the rendering side of things, I'll actually be able to go ahead and tackle things like the Wallpapers, which is usually the first thing I do in the early part of the month anyway.

So...that's basically it. None of that should come as any surprise if you've been keeping up with my previous updates, so not much more to say there.

I will say that I got some problematic news in the mail today regarding my health insurance that I'm going to have to deal with over the next few days, which may take away time from working on the release. If that happens, the release might slip another day or two. I purely hate that, but this isn't something I can ignore and hope it goes away. The Missouri State (I live near the St. Louis area. Do not recommend. -3 out of 5 stars) government has decided they are the world's largest gaping assholes and are interfering with my private medical insurance. Illegally, I might add. Considering that I'm on anti-seizure medication, that's something that I have to get sorted out now before their dipshit fuckery literally gets me killed. Since dying would cause a significantly longer delay than not dying, sorting it out sort of takes priority. Depending on how much of my time and energy that consumes over the next few days, the delivery date I estimated may slide a day or two. I'm sorry if that happens, but not dying does sort of take priority...
