Okay! Finally got this done. It took a couple of days longer than I expected. Honestly, one of those days wasn't really a bad thing, as it was time lost to the GPU upgrade for my rendering rig, which has been helping a lot. But I'll go into more detail about that in the next progress report. The rest of the time was the result of a series of issues, including some technical problems with an extra I did for this Mixed Media release. Word crashed so many times when I was trying to make my little surprise work. As for it actually working...is sort of does?

Pay Attention THIS BIT IS IMPORTANT

What I did special this time is that I added a very minor animation to the story. This is embedded as a video file in the Word document version I've attached. This uses a seriously old, legacy system specific to Word. Which means that it flat out doesn't work in the PDF version. I tried to find a better solution and came up blank, at least as far as anything I could implement quickly. Someday, I might plug the whole thing into TWINE or something.

Anyway, if you have Word, give the .docx version a short, see if the video works for you. If not, don't worry too much. The PDF version just has a static image...but I've also uploaded the mp4 of the animation just so you can see it! It's in with the zip file of renders!
