Octobers Rather Late Second Short
Added 2021-11-06 10:19:18 +0000 UTCHello everyone! I want to double apologize for this short. First, for it being so late. Second, for it being one of the shortest shorts I've ever publish for you. It's still in excess of 3,250 words, but nothing like the 4-6k I usually shoot for. This is, in fact, actually why it's a day and half later even than I had expected. I 'finished' almost two days ago...and it was only 2,500 words at that point. The last day and a half have consisted of me sporadically trying to add more to it, without what I added being just nonsense fluff. I hit the limits of that at it's current length, unfortunately. I simply can't expand it any farther without either being very gratuitous to the plot, or dipping into the NEXT entry for the story. Which would take days longer as it would take the story another 4-5k words.
Next result? I'm actually pretty happy with how the short turned out. I'm just not happy with how...short...it is. Hopefully, everyone enjoys it despite that! As usual, it's attached as a PDF.
