Sitrep for September

Alright, I did one of these last month...and I think I kinda need to do another one now, since there are so many things being juggled at the moment. First and foremost, my apologies for not warning everyone that Andrea of the Silver Key (Part 4) would be delayed. I mentioned that it might be, but I never outright said it would be. Unfortunately, I didn't even get it started until tonight, though I already had an outline for it, at least. Most of which I threw out once I started writing on it, since I realized it didn't connect properly to the previous part. But...that's the way it works sometimes? Anyway, it's actually decently far along, with my current estimate being that it will be finished tomorrow and edited/released on the 3rd. Sorry for letting it slip like this :-(. 

With that admission and apology given and a quick reminder that I'm only going to be doing one story again this month...the next thing to talk about is polls. We have a LOT of polls to run this month. The first two are the usual Haven's Port, Short Story, and Comic polls that will be up sometime tomorrow. Those are only going to be given a short 5 days to run, instead of the usual full week...because I/we need to get on top of more of the Left Hand Magic polls.

I'm going to run two of the Left Hand Magic polls simultaneously right after the normal polls, likely the Futa Content poll along with a less important poll that is, basically, me wanting help with the design of the CEO character. I'm mostly pleased with her, but I'm having a heck of a time choosing between a few of her appearance details, so I'll be running that alongside the Futa Content Poll. And then, once those finish...I'll be running two more back-to-back, though probably not at the same time. One will be for the Art Style of the game. The other will be to give everyone some input on a couple of different MC options. Much like I did for Hair Color with the MC for Haven's Port. Though, probably a bit more so. Essentially, I want everyone (or, as many people as possible, at least) to be happy with the appearance of the MC for Left Hand Magic, since we'll be seeing a lot of her for the next year and a half...

Busy busy, lots of polls. Hopefully, you guys aren't utterly sick of them (and me) by the end of the month :-p. I normally try to keep from overwhelming people with too many posts and too much participation, but we've only got until October 1st before I need a lot of this nailed down. I probably should have tried to squeeze one more into September...but no helping that now.

Anyway, I'll be talking more about Haven's Port specifically when I run the poll tomorrow, but one thing I'm going to mention now is that I'm going to push a bunch of chastity content into Haven's Port this month. I'll leave the remaining content up to the poll that starts tomorrow, but with the end of Chastity Quest, I want to reassure those who are here specifically for the chastity fetish that my games are going to continue to feed that need. Haven's Port was always planned to have the content, I'm just making sure it gets started in a serious way sooner rather than later. Don't worry, if that's not your thing, there will be other stuff in the update as well. 

Likewise, I've already begun seriously outlining the 7 planned 'routes' for Left Hand Magic, and I can assure you right now that at least 2 of the 7 WILL have chastity-themed content. One of them with the MC becoming the keyholder for another character's belt, and another route with her being the one in chastity instead. Other routes may touch on it occasionally, as well (I'm considering pony-play in another route, and chastity is sometimes used there, for example), but the majority of it will be in those two routes. All routes will likely contain some amount of BDSM content, though the type and the role the MC takes in it will vary a lot between each route. And not all routes will contain a lot of it. One route is planned to be more about Transformation content, for example, and any BDSM in that route will likely be incidental Bondage rather than the main focus. And so and so on. I'm currently trying to hammer out a reasonable balance that gets lots of different types of content in, without spreading things so thing that there isn't enough of any one thing.

And that's basically the plan for the month? Whew, that was/is a lot. This month might be a bit overwhelming again...
