Chastity Quest - Focus Poll
Added 2021-06-04 22:35:38 +0000 UTCYep! We're back! I know last time Chastity Quest was updated, I couldn't give you guys a poll. And, in truth, we're so close to the game concluding that this is the likely the last poll on the subject. That, however, doesn't mean it's not a major one! There are two ways I can handle the final two updates planned for the game. You see, we're close enough to the end of the game to talk about...actual endings for the game! It's always been intended that there be 3 endings. A Neutral/Default Ending, Sub Ending, and Dom ending. The question this month is...do I rush to those endings then flesh the final area out later, or do I flesh the area out first and only THEN do the endings.
Option 1 - Focus on Completing the Final Area: This option basically leaves the endings to...the end, really. Essentially I just keep doing what I've been doing, flesh out an entire area before moving on. This would mean doing the 40-50 scenes planned for the final major area of the game before working on the endings. Meaning that this month's build will focus on getting 25-30 scenes hammered out, making up the majority of the content for the final area. To be honest, this is the option I personally prefer.
Option 2 - Focus on Getting to the End: In this option, I create only the bare-bones of the content for the new area that will be needed to unlock the endings. Probably only 10-15 scenes for the last major area. Then I spend the rest of the time getting at least one, and possibly all three, of the actual game endings into the game. I would then use the final build in August to flesh things out for the final area.
