Story Reward - Follow Up Poll

Huh. The Mass Effect Fanfiction won the December Story Poll! I'm not sure if I'm surprised or not? Either way, this one needs a follow-up poll before I really dive into it. Actually, it probably needs TWO follow up polls, so I'm going to get these polls super short duration (3 days only). Because of that, I'm also opening the poll to All Patrons so I can get a lot of feedback quickly. On that note, here's the basic outline of the story that was voted for:

Fanfiction: Mass Effect: The Final Error

Liara T'soni did not believe in taking chances. After all that had happened, what she believed in was redundancy. With the Reapers on the way, she didn't put all her hope in her former lover. Most of it? Yes. But not all.

Some redundancies, she told others about. Such as her preparation of knowledge responsories. Time capsules for the next cycle, intended to prepare future species for the Reapers in the event that the war was lost.  Others, she told no one about. Sponsoring the Andromeda initiative, hiding her part through the broker's network, providing much of their funding. That was one effort, as it would ensure that some of their species would be far beyond the reach of the Reapers. Hopefully. She told no one, not even Shepard, so that no one would ever know to follow them in the first place.

But...there were others, others she didn't mention to anyone not out of security concerns...but because they were utterly absurd. Shots in the dark, mystical gobbly-gook, things she didn't expect to work but threw a few million meaningless credits at...just in case. So when the sacrificial guinea pig of one such experiment finds themself waking up over a hundred years in the past, in the body of a small Asari child...how will the future be changed?

The first poll is simple: I want to know if you guys would prefer to see a crossover character inserted as the protagonist of this, or a minor canon Mass Effect character used. Note, if a crossover character is used, obviously the backstory will change slightly to account for a 'hero' from another place being summoned instead of someone being 'sent back,' The second poll will be a quick vote for WHICH character. Now, here's a brief look at the characters I've considered thus far. I will take suggestions on this one, as well, if there's a solid argument for it.

Cannon Charters: 

EDI - This is the ONLY major cannon character I would consider. The story start would be altered a bit to fit.

Oriana Lawson  - We all know how insanely skilled Miranda is...what happens if her improved genetic twin is the one sent back?

Kelly Chambers - A psychiatrist with a lot of information...but serious issues with combat after the whole Collector's thing. How would she effect the timeline?
