A Couple of Quick Updates

So, I'm FINALLY mostly recovered from the cold-from-hell. I'm back up to maybe 80%, at least, and managed to mostly catch up on my day-job stuff. I've also:

Managed to sort-of finish the above piece of art: I say sort-of, because I'm not fully happy with it. In part, this is the result of struggling through the process of making a difficult (for me, at least) piece while sick. It's not...horrible. But I'd like to spend a little more time trying to tweak bits of it (like her nose, which I've tweaked like 4 times already. I suck with noses but this one looks particularly awful). So, for NOW it's done, but I'll likely take a crack at trying to improve it a bit at some point.

Short Story: I'm not sure I ever actually stated it (though anyone could have checked) but DoL: Merchant Princess won the month's poll rather handily. There also wasn't much interest at all in the new idea I put up, so next month we'll be back to the usual set of options. Good to know, I suppose.... At any rate, I've already got about 2500 words done and I'm planning to knock out about 500 or so tonight. Unless something new goes wrong, it should be out on the 30th, as per usual for story rewards.
