Peeping on Mira 2
Added 2018-06-08 18:14:04 +0000 UTCI'm going to be honest here, if it weren't for the time problems I'm having, I'm not 100% sure I'd keep this one. Oh, it's fundamentally sound, but it constituted another first. Specifically, this is the first time I used the technique (whose-name-I-don't-remember) that involves warping body parts a bit to show both depth and the focus of the viewer. The results are...less than I'd hoped for. The placement of the head, in particular, bothers me a bit. Enough so that I actually manipulated the end-PNG, something I normally don't so, in order to resize and shift it around a bit. Strictly speaking, there is nothing wrong with the image, but I'm not totally satisfied with it.
Buuttttt, there is some good news along with my less than total satisfaction. Namely, that I actually managed this piece in just 2 days (I finished it last night, but left it until today 'cause I wasn't happy with it, then did the head-edit bits just now). If I can pull that off a few more times, I can make up some serious ground and get my original time table back on track!
