Well, I've gotten Faith's Aparment fairly fleshed out. I'm a little concerened as to the size of a few of the rooms. Proportionally they are correct, but the end sizes are going to make camera placement a little awkward sometimes. Still, I'm largely happy with the results!
Sadly, I'm much less happy with the end results of recent Daz purchases. I had hoped to be able to get two new male models out of what I got, but I think I'm only going to manage one. The character model I bought to go with the new male figure won't mesh well with any of the textures I have for...well, to be blunt, dicks. Only the super expensive Daz "Pro" figure bundles have "Anatomical Elements," and even those are...limited. And we're talking $150 for those pro bundles, for a single figure. I actually have the Victoria 7 Pro Bundle, it was my single biggest purchase for the game, and with a few add ins from Render Erotica it's done a very solid job for the female characters.
On the other hand...I don't have the Pro bundle for the male side of the equation. I both couldn't justify the expense, and had serious doubts that the daz figure would do what I needed it to. So, what I have is a fairly solid 3rd party add-on from RenderErotica. Unforunately, that means that I'm stuck with blending the handful of skin tones that the add on creator pacakaged in. I'm hoping I might be able to figure out enough about texture editing for the files to create some more options, but that isn't something currently in my skillset. I'm a writer and programmer, not an artist.
Net result? One of the two purchases I made is effectively worthless for the moment, but the other will allow me to make another male character, at least. Another white guy, which isn't ideal, but it's something.
