Back again for more! This month's expirement is making all four maps variation style. Looking at the archive the variation maps are clearly the least expanded upon so we're padding their numbers in feb. I'd love to hear your feed back on which style you prefer. I'm happy making most but I want to make what will be most useful for you all!

Ida's Guide Update!

Ida's Guide contines a large collection of player options from magic items, to a new druid subclass, and many many variations on familiar player races. This update we're gonna focus on one The Fallen elves!

The Fallen Elves

Cursed by the destruction of the fey wild, where the mana that sustained their eternal youth and beauty flourished, the fallen elves show their hundreds of years of age, their skin growing pale and the air and smoke brought on by the industrial progress of Crudilex is as poison to them. They now live half-lives outcasts on the edges of society forced to wear masks enchanted to stave off the effect of their curse. Many fear them, for at any time a fallen elf may degrade to a point of no return should a year pass without an enchanted mask the elves are driven mad by the lack of feywild magic. transforming into little more than a monster. A twisted, broken, powerful beast called a Feral elf.

The Masks

Constructed by the mysterious artificers of the lands of Grand Nostridan the masks of the elves save them from the madness of their curse. Covering the lower half of their face in a half-gas mask design these magical items were mass produced and distributed freely across the land.

The masks offer the elves a salvation, and many have even begin to alter and customize their mask to suit their unique personalities. However only a select few know exactly how they are made, and it is perhaps one of Crudilex’s most closely protected secrets.

Without a home

Because of the unsure nature of being an elf in the world of Crudilex many societies fear them, often keeping them at a distance unsure of how likely or not they might be to go feral. Because of this many elven cultures have taken to a nomadic tradition, avoiding setting up in any one place for long and following the welcome and goodwill they can find.

Dubious Artiste brings us one of Drakul's Game's NPCs. A fallen elven Medium who preforms a seance ritual for the characters.

Rosabelle Believe

“I am Rosabelle Believe, I reach out now into the fog beyond the veil. We gathered here to call out to you Professor Rook. We have many questions.” The candles flicker and forms begin to take shape in the shadows at the edges of the room. Whispering voices are heard distantly but indistinguishable."

Rosabelle is a Fallen Elven friend to the characters who uses her powers to commune with the dead to aid the characters in speaking with the late professor to gleen what they can of his mission even post his passing. It is only during this Séance that they learn his ultimate fate, a monster has captured his immortal soul. A monster who now posseses the medium and though her brings forth a gathering of ghosts to attack!
