In the far outstretches of the mountain plane, a fox was looking for its next meal. This fox was however no lowly animal but the impressive Lucy. At least she did until her stomach grumbled again. So loudly in fact that the green dragon before her began to awaken. As its huge body stirred, so too did the other three awaken. Their long necks rose like cranes. Huge gusts of smoke left their noses with the hint of sulphur filling the air. All three of them looked around until the green one spotted Lucy below her. Instead of looking scared though, Lucy just looked annoyed. “Shoot. I was going to see if I could swallow one of you without the other two noticing. Hunting all stealthily is always fun. The prey not realising what is happening till they are stewing in my belly. Oh what fun it would be to do that to a dragon” said Lucy which prompted the dragons to laugh. “What an adorable little fox you are. To honestly believe you could eat one such as me is truly laughable” said the green dragon as one of her claws went to tickle Lucy’s chin. Lucy just growled and smacked the claw away. “I think you’ll find I can eat all three of you without breaking a sweat. You three are nothing but a snack to keep me going” said Lucy which resulted in a huskier chuckle from the green dragon.

“Eat her sister” said the red dragon who grinded her teeth. “Burn her to a crisp” said the yellow dragon whose claws dug into the ground like it was as brittle as a biscuit. “Calm down sisters. Let’s entertain this little fox’s delusion. Tell you what foxy, why don’t you put your money where your mouth is. I want you to try and eat me. I will give you a minute to do it. If you fail then I will be the one to eat you” said the green dragon as Lucy scratched her neck in thought. “Does the minute include digestion and excretion?” said Lucy nonchalantly which caused the green dragon to snarl. The mythical creature could not comprehend Lucy’s arrogance. The temptation to just eat her was unbelievably compelling. But she wanted to see Lucy fail to eat her. She wanted to see this fox’s pride crumble before her.

“Just the actual act of eating me. Once every bit of me is in your stomach shall we say” said the green dragon who lowered her head down to ground. The same feeling all prey feels when a predator eyes them down. A sense of impending death that triggers the fight or flight response. Before the dragon could react though, Lucy’s jaw unhinged astronomically. For the first time in the dragon’s life, it found itself looking into the mouth of a hungry predator. She may be able to get sister’s head inside her but she could never swallow the rest of her” said the red dragon as the yellow dragon nodded but with a worried expression.

Lucy though was not deterred by the other dragon’s as she pushed herself along, her claws digging into the dirt. The green dragon felt her face seep into Lucy’s throat, the pulsating flesh around being a truly alien sensation for the experienced pred. As soon as Lucy’s teeth brushed her throat, the green dragon started to panic. Her wings began to flap and her tail swished into a rocky wall. “That’s it sister. Pull you head out and show that fox what a real predator can do” cheered the red dragon, not realising that the green dragon was out right panicking. Lucy dug her claws harder into the ground before letting out a snarl which reverberated around the green dragon’s ears. For in a ridiculous feat of strength, Lucy began to lift the dragon. Arching her back, Lucy raised the dragon off the ground till she was completely vertical. The other two dragons stared in disbelief as their sister was held up by nothing but Lucy’s throat muscles. 

Now directly above Lucy, she let gravity help her. The green dragon slid down Lucy’s throat at such a speed that it felt like she was falling. Her head hit the inside of Lucy’s stomach before hitting the ground. Her form crept along the ground as Lucy’s belly grew bigger to accommodate her. Not a single bit of fur was singed, indicating the flames had not even remotely touched her. “Oy, I thought we agreed I get a minute to try eat you before you attack me?” said Lucy which only infuriated the dragon more.

“That was the deal with my sister. I just want to see you die!” roared the red dragon who flicked its head up, sending Lucy flying above her. Opening is impressive jaws, the red dragon waited for Lucy to fall straight down her throat. But Lucy just grinned as she started to fall towards the dragon. Semblance of bone lingered in the waste, showing that this mass of brown was once a plethora of dragons. Higher and higher the waste grew till Lucy’s belly was completely flat. She moaned in relief before turning to admire her handy work. “Excellent, that will give those snivelling predators something to talk about. Now, lets see if I can find that blasted goat” said Lucy who strode away, content that this snack will keep her going.
