Coats, coats, and more coats!

One of their specialties is sewing chainmaille into the lining for protection against bears and other wild animals. They have a deal going on with a prominent blacksmithing family to get good prices on supplies.
You might notice that the family lives in a long house with three chimneys, yet the inside seems surprisingly short. This is because the other side of the house is a workshop with its own fireplace. Nobody really has any reason to go in there while the men are gone.
While the men polish their craft, the ladies take care of the outdoor chores. They're the ones feeding the animals, milking the cows, tending the garden, chopping wood, setting/checking traps, etc.
Kelu has never suffered any shortage of cute coats in her wardrobe but it DOES get a little embarrassing to keep asking her brothers for new ones because "It doesn't fit... in places... anymore..."

Would Kelu prefer that she would be able to wear the same coat size for several years in a row? (I know, bad joke. But I couldn't resist.)
