Hated It: Microtech Amphibian RAM
Added 2024-01-11 16:53:15 +0000 UTCTD and I test the last Microtech Amphibian RAM knife and I ended up hating it. This is a very different knife from my 2003 collectible tan cam Amphibian. It's heavy, has a much thicker blade, a sharp scaled G10 exterior, and features a "Ram Lock." Just about everything in this amazingly-sold-out knife failed to impress me and it is not rec'd at all.

I just recently got the Microtech MSI with polymer tri-grip scales (harkening to the tri-grip ultratech). US-made, wharncliffe/modified sheepsfoot with the ramlock and M390. Im super happy with it as a larger EDC/utility blade. Good slicer, bad stabber. Also only $177! Let me know if you want to review it and I'll send 'er in. I'll save you some time: has sharp edges on finger choil, shitty jimping, and would likely not baton well. Still good as an EDC though.
