Never try to "fix" a rodent's teeth...
Many see their incisors as a point of pride and may take offense.
It may also put you at risk of being chomped down to size.

Context:
I had a “bite correcting” procedure last week.
This was recommended almost 20 years ago due to mechanical issues w some teeth wearing down too quickly. As a result I'd have sleep grinding, tooth pain, head and eye aches.
But...correcting it was expensive and other things took priority, no insurance, etc etc.
^ But this spring, the procedure was thankfully, overwhelmingly covered by private insurance that I won't have much longer. It was an issue of deciding whether or not to go for it. Because of the tight timeframe, I figured I’d regret passing up the opportunity even if having some downtime would be inconvenient.
A bit of a swollen jaw & neck still, but am comparatively feeling much better & back on the art train as of yesterday.
If you pop into a stream where I'm on voice chat and I sound a funny (-er, than usual), it's temporary due to jaw movement limitations as I heal. It won't be forever :3
