Here's the month's color pieces. At first I was finding acrylic painting more comfortable than anything else to do, probably because unlike with anything with ink or pencils, I tend to leave the piece sitting still, so there's less use of my right hand in them, so the two acrylic pieces were some of the first I did this month. No idea what possessed me to do a cow this month, but there she is, too!

Here's my puppet! She took up a lot of last month, which I intended to try to make up some of toward the end of the month, but instead got a broken arm. She has a rod that lets me turn the head left and right, and a lever with a cord to let her look up and down. The fault wasn't ours, but our car is probably totaled, and in the course of things, my arm was broken. It is a fracture to the humeral head, and it's pretty painful at the moment, but not life threatening so far as I know.
I don't know what this means for my workflow, yet, but i do know there's probably going to be a bit less new art this month. I'll post again ...

Here's the color pieces, only six this time, as October was super busy (and I feel weirdly guilty about that), but here they are. The Raccoon lady and the Mechanic Coyote lady are both acrylic, and the rest are colored pencil, including the African Wild Dog with a guitar, which was probably madness on my part, drawing a guitar was a challenge I wasn't ready for, haha.

Hi everyone, sorry for being behind, I had a 'fun' weekend of being sick and it threw all of my plans out the window.
Also, our little cat, Eve, apparently needs prozac. I hate how helpless I feel about how to help her, she's just always afraid, all the time lately. Vet's checked her physically, blood work, fecal scans, etc, and she seems physically fine, so it's probably mental. The meds should help, but they take time to work, and I worry for her in the meantime.

Got 'em scanned! Here's the ink and pencil pieces for the month! I'm trying to vary the settings and what-not, keep stuff fresh, and it's a bit of a struggle. That's why we have a poodle in a supply closet in one of these!
I'm gonna be photographing everything tomorrow, and may do the sale then (or Tuesday, depending on preference) unless anyone has any objections. Just let me know! thank you!

The paintings took more time than I expected, since I worked a bit more intensely at them, so I got fewer color pieces done that weren't paint. These are primarily colored pencil, but there a base layer of copic on a couple. Still got to get the monochrome pieces scanned, and I'm thinking the sale will be sometime in the start of next week (monday or tuesday) let me know what you all think! Thank you!

Sorry for the delay, last couple have days have been a headache haze for me, but here they are. Been having fun painting lately, though. It can be a touch frustrating, but so very rewarding.
Also photographing paintings is a nightmare, the canvas texture jumps out SO much, and glare is a constant battle. I'm not sure how well I beat either of those this time, but I finally got it to 'good enough' for me. I'm working on scanning all the other stuff, and will have it up later!

Here's the paintings I did this month! In trying to come up with new ideas, I stumbled on setting a couple of these in an abandoned mall, and I may be revisiting the location as time goes on. I just found the idea of sneaking into an old mall for a photo shoot to be kind of fun (even if closed malls are sad to me).

This month I did more weird stuff with color, apparently. Got two colored pencil pieces and two cut paper pieces to go along with the acrylic paintings. The paintings took hold of me and I did more with them than I was expecting, so the rest of the color work got pushed back some.
I'm thinking of doing the sale on Monday if that works for everyone, just let me know. and thank you all again for all your support!

First, sorry for the delay on these, I got struck down with a migraine thanks to all of the nasty weather we've been having and it kind of wiped me out. Finally got the scanning done late last night though.

Experimenting this month! I bought some 8X10 inch canvas panels and broke out my acrylics and brushes. Here's the results! I think working on dry media for a while has helped hone my skills in general, because I'm way happier with these paintings than I have been with others in the past.
I'll be scanning and uploading more stuff tomorrow, barring a power outage or something (we had a big one on Sunday). Thank you all!
