Declined Charges Issue with Patreon

I’m making this a public post just in case, but wanted to give a heads-up that Patreon switched their payment processor overseas this month which has resulted in lots of card declines.
If you tend to go with autopay, you may not notice you weren’t charged and aren’t receiving your updates.
^ This payment provider change apparently went through earlier for several people too, so many could have been cut off in the previous months.
It seems that people will need to authorize this Patreon transaction once, and then it should resume normally.
