2023 Update (DM Rewatch #3)

Hello there

Martin here, I'm back home in the US and feeling a bit more myself. For those of you who weren't aware, my father passed very suddenly at the very end of last year and it's been a rather tumultuous and emotional time for myself and my family as a result.

Going to the UK for a week or so

Hello all

I'm going to be flying to England for my father's funeral today. I'll be gone for a little over a week. When I come back I'm going to redouble my efforts to deliver content your way. The trip may take a lot out of me physically and emotionally but I'll be in one piece and that's what matters.

My apologies for being quiet the last month. A few weeks back I received news my father died suddenly and tragically and I’m still emotionally devastated and reeling from the whole thing. We’re still waiting on an official cause of death and then funeral arrangements need to be made.

As a result I’ve been unable to focus on work - my heart and my attention are currently with my family back home in England who I will be seeing as soon as I’m able.

Nov 22 Update

Hello guys!

Wanted to write a message at the end of November saying thank you again for your support, and also an apology for the lack of content this last month or so - the first week of November I had a really bad flare up, putting me on my butt for the better part of the month. Doctors have given me extra meds to deal with it so I'm somewhat more stable now, but I just wanted to explain that I'd spent November mostly recovering from that.

Apologies for the lack of posts this past month or so, I've been feeling a bit rough - I'm currently working on YGOTAS episode 85 featuring the Vivian vs Rebecca duel. That duel is not what has me feeling gross haha, but it's probably not helping!

Duel Monsters Rewatch - Episode 2

Here it is at last! Many apologies for the wait - I think it was worth it!

Revisiting the YGO dub is always a treat, but I'd give anything to essentially Yami Yugi myself and lose all my memories of the show so I can experience it again for the first time. Who can forget how exciting it was to watch Yugi go one on one with the creator of the game?

Hello Friends and Patrons.  Marianne here.  I am writing to let you know that Martin has been readmitted into the hospital; we believe the medication he is on is not strong enough and need to find a new treatment plan.  Unfortunately, this sort of stuff feels like throwing darts with your eyes closed.  His previous medication worked well, but it was a chemotherapy drug and the length of time he could be on it was limited (2yrs), as it is a severe immunosuppressant and woul...

Hi everyone. Marianne here. So sorry its been quiet on our end. Martin continued to have escalating complications from his Ulcerative Colitis and was readmitted in the hospital on Monday. Which, as it happens, is also my birthday. We are hoping to have him home next week but it will currently depend on his response to new medications. We appreciate your patience in the meantime.
