What To Expect: November 2021

I didn't think I was going to make a WTE post this early, but, considering I've been having a surprisingly productive night, I decided "oh, what the heck". XD

Anyways, first thing you might've immediately noticed is I finally, FINALLY, have an updated banner! One that's not only up to date and shows both comics, but also doesn't look horribly stretched because I tried (and miserably failed) to repurpose an old Moonlit Brew ad, and it just stuck there for almost as long as this very page's existence. So, I guess I'll talk about the process of making this banner:

I knew from the moment I made the original MDMA Inc logo a couple of years ago, that I wanted to make a version of it with the MB and ACES characters inside the letter, and I'd like to eventually make variations that are exclusively for each story, akin to how each show had their own take on the Cartoon Network Studios logo back in the 90's. I didn't make it for the longest time due to 1. No one (including myself) had the time to go and make it, and 2. I had other, more urgent priorities, especially when this Patreon's future looked super bleak thanks to COVID. I was gonna wait until 2022 to see if maybe I can somehow get Eli and Ataribetch to make a collaboration by working on original drawings of the characters to better fit inside the MDMA letters (and I still might do that, so consider this banner a "placeholder"!), but I got so bored tonight, that I figured I'd try and make it, myself, and see how it turned out by using the covers for both comics. 

It wasn't an easy process (I have Photoshop Elements, so having an easy option to make text into shapes like you can with OG Photoshop is not possible, so I had to get creative and use the lasso tool around each letter and make them into different layers), but hopefully you guys like the new look! 

As for the schedule, Ataribetch will be giving me sketches for Moonlit Brew Chapter 5 Page 46 and maybe Moonlit Grind Pages 4 and 5 sometime later today! Assuming the Patreon stays the same, we will spend November working on Moonlit Brew Chapter 5 Pages 47 and 48 (these should be the final pages for the chapter!), and Moonlit Grind Pages 6 and 7.

As for ACES, Chapter 2 Page 31 is being worked on as we speak! Eli's still getting used to their college schedule, so we apologize for the spotty updates for this comic! That being said, the comic is still being worked on, and I will remind everyone that ACESEXY has already been fully paid for, so you will see that comic be finished, regardless of what happens with this Patreon!

I should also mention that, thanks to the generous donation from one of our patrons made at the beginning of the month, I will easily be able to pay the difference to ensure everyone has all these pages paid for, for November! Also, I will be commissioning IntroducingEmy (creator of Trying Human) to draw the rest of the ACES gang in her style, so be on the lookout for those, through the end of the year!

Hard to believe I'm already going to be turning 30, this month... My birthday wish is that for things to get even better, and that the worst of my life is finally over. Once again, I want to thank each and every one of you for your continued support, and that this is just the start of some amazing things here!
