What To Expect! (June 2019)
Added 2019-05-29 09:08:04 +0000 UTCHowdy! So, I might've mentioned this for a while, but I got hit with a really bad cold (out of nowhere, might I add; who the hell gets colds during this time of year?!); Thankfully, I wrote the script for Chapter 5 Pages 12-15, right before it got real bad. ^^;
I'm doing fine, though my ears got plugged up a bit, so I've been taking ear drops for half a week, now. >>
But no one wants to read about life troubles more than they want to. Pending there's no dropouts, C2P12-15 will get made, this month, if you haven't guessed by now!
June's going to be a pretty big month, for me, for two reasons: 1. I'm planning on continuing ACES, after a few months worth of stalling! I've been holding off on buying anything flashy for half a year, in order to save up and start paying an artist to get this comic going again; I'm treating this comic as seriously as I've been with Moonlit Brew, and I'm hoping it will be just as big!
Which leads me to the other reason June will be pretty big: I'm going to a (potentially) life-changing meeting on the 11th; if things go well, I'll start having a lot more financial breathing room, and from there, I could really get things going, for both Moonlit Brew and ACES!
Ideally, I would love to give ACES a 4 page per-month schedule, just like this comic, but my current financial situation won't allow that; for now, I'll only be able to afford 2 pages for month, unless, again, things go my way on the 11th. In the meantime, I've been waiting to hear back from the artist regarding if she's going to make a Paypal account and get a schedule set-up, but she hasn't even said hi since 9 days ago. Worst case scenario, if she leaves me jilted at the altar on or before the 11th, I have another artist who will work with me on ACES; I'm dead serious with making this comic happen, and I'm not going to wait forever, anymore.
Of course, I would like to (again) stress that any work on ACES will not affect work on Moonlit Brew in the slightest! I actually have a schedule where I have one month dedicated to working on MB's script while refurbished pages are being made, and on the next month, I work on ACES's script, and I alternate back and forth with each month. Basically, no scheduling changes would be necessary when it comes to running 2 original webcomics.
Perhaps in the near-future, when I get settled with a schedule for ACES, I'll discuss the long-term plans I have for it; Spoiler alert: it won't be any different from how I've raised Moonlit Brew to what it is, today. ;)
Hope you folks are doing well! As usual, thanks for your support!
