----------------------
You inhale sharply, "M-maybe you didn't search the canyons well enough -- please, d-don't eat me!" A glob of hot saliva drips down onto your muzzle in response.
Lirus - the dragon attached to the threatening maw - rumbles with amusement. The bellows emitted from his throat rattle your bones.
----------------
The dragon's thick, dexterous tongue reaches forward and coils around your diminutive form.
"Please, Master Lirus!" your voice cracks, the beast's humid breath clouds your vision. "please reconsider-!"
Gripped tightly, you feel a rising sensation in your chest. The slick muscle lifts you over a row of dangerously pointed teeth and into the cavernous maw.
"I won't let it end like this...!" you exhale hysterically, wriggling against the slimly restraint. You squint against the steam rising from the beast's throat and set your gaze on the fleeting light peeking from the dragon's slightly parted maw.
Success!
Just as you slip from the tongue's grip, jaws are clamped shut, trapping you within your new prison.
----------------
Surrounded by total darkness, you find that all you can do is formulate breathless shouts for help.
The tongue beneath you undulates.
"Any last words, before I continue on with my night?" the beast's uvula flashes, quivering as he speaks. The bass of his voice pierces you, causing goosebumps to erupt under your fur.
"L-let me go!" you hesitate, your desperate mind wonders if perhaps a different approach would work "...My faction will arrive to find me soon, they'll slay you!"
If only...
You find yourself elevated by the beasts tongue and pressed against the ribbed roof of his maw.
----------------
Before you know it, your prison begins to tilt backwards as the beast knowingly moves his head. The chasm at the back of his throat vibrates eagerly as Lirus chuckles.
You hurriedly grip at moist flesh, but it's too late.
You slip away into the chasm, uvula taunting you as it fades from your view...
