No changes to billing have been implemented, this was only a *proposed* change that went public on Twitter for feedback.
Its since received overwhelmingly negative feedback from both creators and patrons. It’s very likely this proposed change will be scrapped or become optional for creators to enable.
The proposed change was to change the date of billing to the anniversary of subscription, rather than the 1st of each month.
Understandably, this would get really annoying for patrons with lots of random little charges to their credit cards all month, and with creators having their “payday” scattered all over the month.
I just wanted to qwell any anxieties patrons may have. This is not an approved change, just a proposed change.
I appreciate and respect all of you and if there are any platform changes that affect how much you’re being charged and/or when you’re charged, I will bring it to everyone’s attention.
Luckily the platform seems great with listening to their creators, so I’m not concerned.
