The Rha status report

So, what’s been going on since we last spoke over a month ago?

As predicted, I didn’t get a lot of writing done since the last post. I’ve started the next Moira episode, but it’s been unusually slow going, I think because it’s structurally a “pivot point” in the overall series arc. I’m trying to build up some steam again.

However, I took the time to do a full editing pass (finally) on Saida & Autumn, and hope to get that out as at least an ebook later this year.

Also, if you haven’t been following me on Twitter or FA, there are more non-canonical vore flashfics featuring Saida in situations she would probably never get into. The full list, with commentary exclusively for you:

• An unnamed otter woman; this one could be canon, except that it would be unusually, er, sociopathic for any giant around Mensura to just casually eat a little. It does make me want to revisit casually predatory giant otters.
• Red Savina; definitely not canon, since they’re from different settings, and I don’t think Savina would just be like “oh, you look tasty,” although there’s a strong implication that she somehow sensed Saida’s prey nature.
• Miss Flint; also definitely not canon due to the different settings, although I tried to be fairly true to the characters otherwise.
• Farrah the red panda; this one… mmf. A brand new character, just like the otter, with the same problem as far as being canonical—Mensura students should really not go around eating littles, and there’s a pretty clear implication Saida is not the first person Farrah has talked down their throat. But I don’t think I can give up on Farrah as a character; I’ll just have to see where they fit later.

And, again just for you, a few upcoming ideas:

• Clover, the sci-fi demigoddess rat created at the end of my story “The Great Game.” Clearly non-canonical, and going more mega-scale (Clover is nearly a thousand feet tall in the story).
• Aster, the flower-coyote from “Wildflowers”; also quite non-canonical, and maybe going pretty weird and sexually explicit because, let’s face it, “pretty weird and sexually explicit” is Aster’s calling.
• Sarah, a red wolf woman who can sometimes be incredibly huge. I think there’s a version of Sarah that exists canonically in Mensura, but this will be more the Sarah from “Claiming the Moon,” e.g., incredibly huge.
• An unnamed mouse magician who tries to shrink Saida and fails, resulting in a rather angry giant cat woman. Saida doesn’t have to always be the prey…

My goal is to get both the Clover flashfic posted and the next Moira episode posted by the end of the month. If I meet that goal, I’ll let the next monthly charge go through. (You weren’t charged for either December or January.) I am still hoping to claw back to that biweekly or, dare to dream, weekly schedule, but we’ll see how it goes.
