The world of Naruto will need to show off to make a challenge for Naruto, now. I know we have the Akatsuki coming up and their power levels are insane but everything else is going to be a one-shot unless we see some divergences in the story. An example the Chunin Exam is going to be a curb-stomp till the invasion if anything, if it hasn't been butterflied away.

I donβt mind how much the story changes from the canon timeline or how different Naruto becomes if the reason behind it is right for your story. Great ending to the wave arc better than canon.
