I haven't drawn Satin Steele performing a strength feat for a while, so I decided I'd finish out May with one.
Kind of challenging with Satin, because she's not superhumanly strong (merely "impressively"), so I can't show her lifting the tons of weight my other characters like Tetsuko, Starburst, or Iolæ from the previous post can. On the other hand, though, it means I can fit the challenging object (like a 900-lb. squat bar, or in this case a steel rebar) into the picture with her. (Contrast with the Axle of Kratos from the aforementioned Iolæ pic; concentrate on the size of the stones and Iolæ can't be drawn as large, but draw Iolæ larger and the Axle gets severely cropped and its immense size and weight can only be suggested.)
I'm also dabbling in a different technique this time, a colored pencil/watercolor look (digitally replicated in Clip Studio Paint, of course) against one of my favorite backdrops, "the "riveted steel wall".
