Not so long ago, she was a mathematical scientist at the Space Center, before the bizarre events that endowed her with the powers that now make her the mightiest being on Earth (and quite possibly the galaxy) - the spectacular Starburst!
She muses on the many ways her life has changed since that day. She worries that her powers might someday cause her to lose her humanity - that her immense strength will warp her moral sense and lead her to desire absolute dominion over the world and everyone in it. And conversely, she also fears that one day, she'll be confronted by someone - or something - even more powerful than she is, and she'll be helpless to prevent the enslavement, or even the destruction - of her beloved Earth.
