Bellagarth's Quest Devlog #3: Inventory, Journal, Level Select

This time I show some important systems that have been added since the last update. We're getting closer and closer to having the full proper game loop for BQ that I'm envisioning, which is always a very exciting part of game development for me, personally.

2025-02-15 19:43:50 +0000 UTCYeah that makes sense! Any item that is used to progress would be in key items on the right side so there shouldn't be any issues with them clogging up space for healing items! But we'll cross that bridge when/if we reach it!

2025-02-15 18:03:10 +0000 UTCThe map screen is pretty much exactly what I hoped would happen in a previous patreon dev post, the item inventory managment might be more important for new levels later - If I had to make a comparison to routes from Lillith's lair, the idea would be akin to something like buying Snake Oil to use in certain levels to unlock a different path on the map, sort of like how the elves don't let you into the kitchen if you use Snake Oil.
