...in my case, Internet access. You have no idea how much a part of your life it is until it goes down.

In my case, it was a lightning strike close to the house that fried my modem last Wednesday. Good thing I had cellular access through my phone so I could contact my ISP so they could ship me another one. Unfortunately their iOS app didn't get the request through the first time (after it had promised I'd be getting the new one last Friday); when I called them on Monday they said they never got the request. But they shipped it out yesterday, I got it earlier today, and I'm back up and running.

And apparently in my absence Patreon decided that all text in posts and comments will be rendered in boldface...
