January 2018 Q and A

Well, here it is. And I always feel better when I can get it posted before the last day of the month.

But it hasn't been without hiccups: I had an earlier version of this video ready to go; and since the question this month concerns NSFW material, I illustrated some of the points in my answer with NSFW material. Then I tried to upload the video to Dailymotion, the video service I started using out of a desire to avoid using Google services (due to its size and the way it's trying to insinuate itself into every aspect of the typical net user's experience, and because YouTube isn't as lenient about NSFW visuals in my videos.) But for some weird reason, no matter how many times I tried, Dailymotion wouldn't let me publish the video. (I wasn't able to assign a category, a password, or anything else about the video.)

So it's back to YouTube for hosting these videos. Which means censoring some of the graphics I was using; which meant rendering a new version of the video.

But it's done, and embedded, and ready for your enjoyment.
