each telling their own truths

I am the tree 

that has grown from each our combined discoveries.

All the life buzzing around you 

& you know this is not all there is.

You know there is an underlying truth that is not matching your words.

The language of our soul is washed away with a desire to match our surroundings. 

What happens when your alone? 

Where we say the hard stuff

I have been neglecting my pursuit of art lately

I only do this when I am distracting myself from confronting my self.

I re-read my old work in a journal from 2015 and I saw the beast of vulnerability lure my true self out through words.

Shedding light on my demons and embarrassments brings me up for air. Finding my way out of a funk by force feeding my soul.

It all came down to thinking that if my younger self can find that strength to stand again, I will too.

I want to share more of this set because there is more to be shared. Every photo carries significance to me and not very many have ever been shared.
