(NSFW) Jan. POTM - Charlotte Breaks Free!

Surprise! Here's the January Pic of the Month!

Normally I like to tease the POTM with a look at the preliminary sketch(es), and maybe the inks. But since this is a follow-up to the "Charlotte in Chains" pic posted in November of 2016 (wut? has it been that long??), I wanted to spring this one on you fully drawn.

This is the first completed drawing I've done since the new year started. (I did a concept sketch of a pivotal scene out of "Tetsuko's Odyssey", but since that drawing would be a major spoiler of a major story in that series, I can't post it anywhere, at least not for awhile.) In a way, it's an appropriate image, since I feel like I myself have broken the bonds of that illness that's plagued me since before New Year's.

I will be posting a lo-res version of this on my DeviantArt page, because I also posted a lo-res version of "Charlotte in Chains" there. But only you guys (and girls) get to see (and download) the full-size, hi-res version you see here.

(Hmm... I see by re-reading the "Charlotte in Chains" post that I'd posted two versions of that drawing: one with captions hinting at the possible story these pics are telling, and one without. So I'm doing that for this one as well.)
