Chapter no.9 The Devouring Seal Technique

[ Isaac's POV ]
As the sun went down , a beautiful carpet of darkness had enveloped the land , with the stars in the sky acting as beacons of light towards all , I continued to stare at the moon .
The entire day had gone by as I continued to cultivate at the top of a carved out tree which took about an hour to do with the weapons I had .
Not wanting to get the artic cold disease I didn't dare cultivate at night .
hehehe .... To think that I am cultivating right here , right now .
Since I don't want to use the Devouring Seal Technique , my options are kinda limited since I only know of 3 other cultivation techniques . One is the bits and pieces of the Heavenly God Technique which had already stopped working but had raised my soul force amount to 35 . The second one was the modified technique Nie Li gave to Xiao Ning'er which gave me more to work with . The third one was Emperor Kong Ming's Ten Word Chant which was not working .
Speaking of which through a soul crystal I found in the skeleton's spatial ring , I found out about my soul attributes and soul form .
The Soul Form is determined by the shape, colour, and movement of the soul force within the crystal while the soul attribute is determined by the shape, color, and movement of the soul force within the crystal.
I was attributeless along with not having a soul form which was the best for me since I at least had the freedom to cultivate the modified technique that Nie Li gave to Xiao Ning'er and as for the Ten Word Chant , it was not working at all maybe because I was not understanding it properly since to me those words were extremely obvious .
" Infinity has no beginning, no beginning can have no end."
So either I don't have the insight required to use the Ten Word Chant or I have to directly go to Emperor Kong Ming's monument to truly gain this Ten Word Chant .
Closing my eyes , I thought of a door opening and placing a bell outside as my soul force entered into the spatial ring and out came the bell .
This thing from the info I got from the jade slip is a soul weapon similar to the soul katars Nie Li found in the Heavenly Mark Family's Treasury .Soul weapons can be drawn into one's soul realm. You can only bond with one your entire life and when you die it goes with you .
Taking a deep breath , I began chanting Nie Li's modified cultivation technique as a warmth washed over my entire body . Slowly my forehead felt like it was opening as the soul force in the environment entered into the soul sea .
Slowly but surely Isaac managed to raise the bell near his dantian without losing his concentration .
Wisps of Isaac's soul force entered into the runes of the bell as they glowed with a purple light .
Isaac's head jerked back as the soul bell entered into his soul sea .

The sounds of bells could only be heard inside Isaac's head as the entire bell was washed with his soul force inside his soul sea .
Looking over the moon , Isaac began to think of plan to get out of this forest safely .
Not needing to get any sleep , Isaac tried to summon the soul bell which instantly appeared as a sense of lethargy washed over him . It looks like the soul bell consumed a lot of soul force as he checked the soul crystal to see that 20 soul force points remained . So he consumed 15 soul force points just to summon this thing .
Isaac began to continue with his experiment with the soul weapon . Observing how much soul force is lost if he kept it outside for a given period of time , how much power does this weapon have as he started out small from leaves to branches but didn't dare do much after that since the bell produced a lot of noise when it blasted apart the branches .

[ Next Morning ]
A shadow moved swiftly and quietly through the tops of the forests .
Stopping on one branch , the shadow revealed itself to be Isaac .
' To think I could do parkour of this level just because of an increase in soul force amount or maybe it's because I use the Ancestral Demonic Saint Land's way of manipulating soul force '
Isaac removed his hand from the branch revealing holes riddling the branch where his hand used to be .
Taking a calm breath , Isaac channels soul force to his ankles . Tensing his muscles , the meridians located above his Achilles tendons opened and in one swift motion , Isaac jumped from branch to branch .
As the image of the crashed Cessna 172 became clearer , Isaac sped up .
Climbing down from the tree top , Isaac took out a few spiritual herbs and chewed on them but he didn't swallow as he felt the release of soul force from the breakdown of the spiritual herb by enzymes in his mouth .
Isaac cringed at the extremely bitter taste of the spiritual herb as he swallowed it knowing fully well that all the soul force inside it has yet to be released .
Placing his hand on the Cessna 172 , Isaac sighed as he was reminded of his home but he quickly shook his head .
Raising his single hand , Isaac channeled soul force through meridians points located on the tips of his fingers and thrusted his hands into the boat to tear the outer exterior off .
What Isaac didn't know was the silver rank demon beasts flaming snake was observing him from the burrow it had made ?
Perceiving Isaac as a weak prey , the demon beast launched itself at the back of the Isaac .
