Excellent episode, surprise guest, changes in the intro (to induce VERY VALID FEARS) and some brilliant Angel and Spike moments.

2025-08-26 04:10:06 +0000 UTCWhen Illyria says "I was god to a god" there's some interesting fan canon that posits Glorificus was the god who worshipped Illyria. It's never actually been stated by the show creators, as far as I know, but it makes for an interesting view in the Buffyverse. Adam Baldwin also plaid a character called Animal Mother in Stanley Kubrick's 'Full Metal Jacket'; a Vietnam war movie I highly recommend. It's always interesting to me as well watching the different interactions between Angel and Lindsay, considering David Boreanaz and Christian Kane are really good friends in real life (David, Christian and Glenn Quinn were all close friends, even before they did Angel). Oh by the way if you're looking for a new series after Buffyverse ends, Christian Kane has a roll in a great fantasy series called The Librarians. You can find it on Binge in Australia. :)
