Added 2024-08-02 21:00:04 +0000 UTCI was a bit sick when filming this one, and I will hand on heart say that I won't put myself through that again! OR.... at least, I'll try ๐ I usually feel so much pressure to not miss any time recording, so it's really hard when I'm not feeling well as those feelings usually bubble to the surface and I end up not taking a break when I need to. It's something I need to work on improving! I would like to try and get ahead with everything a little so I have a buffer to fall back on in case I get sick or something happens, and I can rest in bed like I'm supposed to!
Right - back to the episode! A great episode and I really enjoyed it, but poor Cordy. It's just getting worse and worse for her and I feel so bad ๐ฅ

Please take better care of yourself Juliette. I think Lilah is one of the most evil, heartless recurring characters in the Buffyverse and I hate more than any other character. On the other hand I absolutely love Fred and not counting Buffy she is my favorite character in the Buffyverse.

It was hard to record a reaction and be coughing so much as I had to pause quite a few times, which I really don't like doing. I would really like to create a buffer zone of maybe 2 episodes or so in front so in the future I actually CAN rest without worrying I'm falling behind. At least that way, I could just do the editing on days when I'm not feeling up to recording. I appreciate your kindness and understanding ๐ฅฐ

The pressure is just from ME though, no one else, but I think it's because I know how many people watch these episodes, and I don't want to let anyone down. I was getting better and now suddenly yesterday I lost my voice (it's back now, sadly for you!!) and now I have a stuffy nose back AGAIN. I feel that I've gotten sick all again. I just hope I'm better soon ๐ญ

2024-08-03 21:42:47 +0000 UTCI think Australia has this weird concept of a certain amount of allowed sick days. But I have a very European attitude there: If you're sick you'll take the day(s) off. And I'm sure your patrons all understand. People trust you to take care of your health and energy.

William Shatner, who played Capt James Tiberius Kirk in the original Star Trek series in the 1960's, released several record albums. The first one was of various classical readings including some Shakespeare with an orchestral background. His first thesbian experiences were as a Shakespearean stage actor. He later released some albums where he speaks the lyrics of various popular songs with background music, he even had a Christmas album. It was widely believed that the albums only sold due to his popularity as Capt Kirk. If you are really interested, search YouTube for Shatner - Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds or Rocketman. Kind of cringe-worthy.

Now, as a qualified doctor with 30 years experience, I very strongly recommend that next time you're ill, you are to make sure to take it easy and give yourself the necessary time to recover. (I may have lied about being a doctor)
