Dr Who 4x3 Planet of the Ood Reaction

Another Who episode, more Donna, more tears! I have a feeling this season is going to really tear me apart 😅

I am getting a little frustrated with the ongoing copyright claims that seem to plague me with Doctor Who. Videos that have been uploaded to youtube and posted here then sit on unlisted on the youtube channel until they are scheduled there. They sit there with NO ISSUES for two or three weeks and then suddenly the whole thing gets claimed. I cannot understand what is happening. I don't want to stop Doctor Who, but I'm also going to have to start finding new ways of editing these reactions only (everything else is okay). A transparent logo is my first step, and if that doesn't work, I'll move onto changing the layout. People watching these episodes have generally seen them before, so it really is mostly about my reaction to them. I've seen other reactions to Who and they blur and remove the footage entirely at times, so I might have to edit that way at some point. Nothing is ever easy 🤣

Sorry, just a little rant to start off the day 😅

Dr Who 4x3 Planet of the Ood Reaction

Comments

Loved your reaction to my 3rd favorite episode of the whole show. (1st coming later this season, and the 2nd being the very first episode of NuWho~) I really, really love your empathy, and the emotion you show every time. (Don't be afraid to show it. To us empaths, our emotions are kind of like our superpower~) The Ood are my absolute favorite species in Doctor Who (apart from our beautiful Time Lord of course) and they deserve the very best from here on out. I always cry in this episode, no matter how many times I see it. The first time Donna hears their song and cries, I immediately tear up, and the other time, is when they can finally sing their song free. I literally can't wait to see watch your reactions to the rest of the season, since this and the 1st seasons are my favorites. Sending much love and good energy from Finland 🙏✨

Krista Han

Loved your reaction as always Juliette! I think I mentioned it earlier in a previous episode's comment section, but I don't know if you've noticed but David's hair is more wild this season!

Daniel French

The next episode is a two parter which will introduce an old enemy from the Classic Series. Loved your reaction to this episode. The episode is one of my favourites in the fourth series.

James Gorman

I came here to comment that bit from "Fear Her," I'm glad I checked to see if someone else had done it first! :)

Chloe Lanteigne-Marrow

My goal in life is to be like Wilf! He's such a wonderful human. ❤️

SeeJay

I'm not sure about the timing - but I like to think that, just as the Ood in the Sanctuary Base were falling into the black hole ('SATAN PIT, S2E9), the Doctor broke the circle. And at that moment of terror, the Ood heard the song, and were at peace. It makes me happy, is all.

Martin Holt

AND her grand dad! I CAN'T DEAL

Donna is just AMAZING. I am in love. She's just sent my love for Doctor Who hurtling through several dimensions 🤣

🥰🥰

Great reaction as always! I love the ood. They just make me so happy to see them once again.

Larissa Reimer

I think you are the first reaction I've watched who figured out the Ood conversion! Well done. Sooo as disgusting as that was to watch, it was originally much more graphic and the BBC told them they had to tone it down. You can only imagine what it would have looked like. Also, that scene alone is the sole reason the DVD got a 12 rating instead of a PG rating. It's funny because Donna is a fan favourite (for obvious reasons) but when people get to the Runaway Bride most people absolutely hate her. I think Donna has the fastest and most significant redemption arc in TV history lol.

SeeJay

The circle is broken and I hear the song now

Paul Hess

I think eating that many content mods would probably give the Absorbaloff intense gas.

Martin Holt

It took me a long time to warm up to Donna on my first watch through. I kept seeing her as the way that she was portrayed in her first appearance and didn't let myself see how much her character grew between appearances. Last episode I had remembered her convincing the Doctor with a little bit of demanding instead of the heart wrenching pleading that actually swayed the Doctor. This episode I was surprised by her level of concern for the Ood. That, "I want to go home." hit me hard this time.

Nebraska

You totally predicted him drinking something and turning into an ood! I remember the bit at the end of Fear Her "We'll always be okay, don't you reckon, Doctor?" "A Storm's approaching" so well, so ominous but soooo good

Lee Dawson

Now you understand why everyone was so excited to get you to this season! It has some of the top episodes (and Donna <3), and this one is definitely up there!

Geo

Thank you!! I am so glad you enjoy that side to the videos 💜 I never thought I'd love this show as much as I am. It's taken me very much by surprise!

Juliette Gaming

I cannot believe I got that 🤣

Juliette Gaming

He'd have faces all over his body!

Juliette Gaming

I've got a few things to try, so I'm excited about seeing if I can get past it! I could always upload one episode to YouTube with a logo/overlay on it, and the edited one here without the logo, like how I normally edit. That may be a good solution!

Juliette Gaming

Such a brilliant episode and I love that you spotted the twist at the end so early. It has been mentioned before but these episodes are beautifully woven together with little breadcrumbs of a greater story dotted all over the place. Think you've spotted any so far? Fantastic two-parter coming up with some great callbacks not only to a previous companion, but to a previous Doctor too (which is one of my favourite silly moments of this series). Can't wait. Love and light as always.

The Rising Ape

44:05 The "ominous saying" I think you're thinking of is satan/the devil saying that Rose is going to die in battle and then she "dies" in the battle of Canary Wharf. As the Doctor said to her himself when he was projecting himself to her; "You're dead, officially, back home."

OverWims

i really admire your ability to capture emotion and just feel everything so deeply - i think that’s what really drew me in to your channel, watching alongside you and seeing your reactions is so fun! honestly i look forward to your dw videos every wednesday ❣️❣️

"What if the Ood is poisoning him" "What if he turns into an Ood" You don't need us to spoil things when you're spoiling it yourself 🤣

OverWims

Or the Abzorbaloff! He's always hungry.

Owen

GOODNESS! I mean, okay then 🤣 let's do it!

Juliette Gaming

Neil 💜 I've got a few more tricks up my sleeve before I give up, but thank you always for your support and understanding. It's SO annoying. I swear the BBC hates me. Last night I did some research, and a lot of other reactors have problems with Doctor Who as well. So that's something! I'm going to re-edit the next episode for Youtube (the pompeii one) in a new style and see how that goes. It's not too much work as the edit is already done, I just need to change the layout a bit with copying and pasting. It's kind of exciting because it's something new?! I need a life 🤣

Juliette Gaming

Those who maliciously file copyright claims must be fed to the Mega-Ood.

Martin Holt

I already said this in reply to your comment on YouTube earlier, but if the YouTube edits give you too many headaches maybe you could make your Who reactions a Patreon exclusive and post them only on here.

Neil Hanson

Sorry your having issues with copyright, the bbc can be strict when it comes to its programs This season is amazing and it's only the beginning

Tobly

Copyright is always so annoying. I get on why it's important to protect people's work but sometimes it's just ridiculous. And yes like I've said before, this season is an emotional rollercoaster lol but I think you'll love it!
