Even though I've been keeping up with the editing and releasing the episodes, I'm definitely behind with the comments here. I read them all as they come through as I get emails for each one πΈI'm still spending time with family and wanted a break, so the editing is kinda my priority right now, to keep on top of it all and have you guys supplied with fresh episodes!
I'm also a bit behind on comments on both youtube channels, though I am getting better these days at not feeling I have to reply to everything. Although I do try to reply as much as I can, I really am trying to reply to those who have actually watched the video. Sometimes I look at the analytics of the gaming videos, and only a small amount of people who click are watching. During a cut scene, it goes up. It gets a bit disheartening at times! So I really do appreciate those who watch. The reaction videos have a much higher percentage, with about 70% of people who click watching all the way through! It can be really interesting sometimes to go through the stats. A reaction video is a smaller commitment for a viewer, usually around 30 minutes so that could be why!
Anyway.... that's it from me haha! I hope you all have a wonderful New Year. I'll be staying in and playing games, obviously π€£ Dave The Diver wants his New Year sushi!

Happy new year, Juliette! I've just now gotten around to watching this reaction because I was quite busy with work and holiday festivities. I'm looking forward to your reaction to the next episode. This two-parter is one of the best of the season as well as the whole show. You know that I was not a big Faith fan in season 3, but it's actually so exciting to see her back. Body swap episodes are always fun. Some reactors have guessed ahead of time what Faith's little trinket would do, but I like that you had absolutely no clue what that thing was or what it did until the "Five by Five" line at the very end. That was me as well the first time I watched this. I had no clue what happened until she said that and then my jaw dropped. lol

2024-01-01 00:00:39 +0000 UTCFaith's dreams give an interesting insight into how she perceived what happened in season 3. The mayor was her father figure, and Buffy killed him. Buffy took away the only loving family Faith ever had. But Faith crawled out from the prison Buffy put her in. I don't know whether you recognised that scene with Faith climbing out of the grave, but it's a clear reference to the movie The Shawshank Redemption, about a prison break. BTW, I'm pretty sure Faith is right about one thing at least: Buffy did stab her "for a guy". She did it to cure Angel, no other reason. And she was fully ready to kill Faith. The mayor is still fun to watch, even if he's not really here.

2023-12-30 05:53:51 +0000 UTCThis two-parter is one of the highlights of this season. Also, you may wish to take notes on the opening shared dream sequence between Buffy and Faith. In the picnic scene with Faith, the Mayor picks up a small snake as a call back to his transformation at the end of season 3. Given Australia's plethora of deadly snakes, this one not so much. It is a very common snake called a garden or garter (from the German for garden) snake depending on the region. Obviously non-poisonous and feeds on insects and worms.

I really enjoyed watching you play that old classic! I have a suggestion that ties in with Buffy. If you've never played "Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines" you might really like that. It's got a great story and atmosphere and a lot of fun choices and action and even multiple possible endings.

Won't know for sure until next episode though lol. I still think someone needs to stake Spike. He is always gonna be a monster and a threat so may as well deal with him now rather than wait until he can murder people again.

I love how brazen she was, just turning up in the middle of campus like that. There was only one thing on her mind and that was revenge. Love the little cameo by the (ex) Mayor. Apart from maybe Spike on occasion, has any other bad guy ever been so charming? And who's this stranger? Joyce? I know Buffy is grown up now but you'd think she'd have been checking on her mother more often, what with all the evil in Sunnydale and all. What a great ending to the episode, a Buffy/Faith throwdown and then the classic, and always fun, body swap. Can't wait to see your reaction to the next episode (and you getting the answer to your Faith & Riley pondering). And speaking of Riley, don't worry, your opinion of him is very common amongst Buffy fans. Glad to hear you're warming up to him though, he's a bit bland sure, but he's a decent guy. 2023-12-29 20:31:28 +0000 UTCA friend got me Dave the Diver for Christmas! I played it constantly on Christmas day. It's so fun! And I work in hospitality. I wouldn't think playing a game where half of it is serving food would be fun but I just love the diving part. Anyway, I will be watching this, for sure. This is an epic episode.
