Added 2023-11-27 21:00:03 +0000 UTCI really liked this episode! Cordelia was great in it, but I have to say seeing her "Fall To Pieces" (see what I did there?) was very sad. I sometimes can't quite remember the Cordelia of old on Buffy, the one that I didn't really like in the beginning π
That Cordelia and this one are very similar, which just proves again to me that she is a very honest person, and true to herself. Okay, maybe she WAS a little bit mean sometimes on Buffy π€ But I have to say without a doubt that she has most definitely grown on me and has become a character that I like very much.
I hope you have a lovely week ahead of you! I know it was Thanksgiving weekend but we don't celebrate that here. For those that do, I hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving. Even if I don't celebrate it, there are still plenty of things for me to be thankful for, including all of you π

Ahhhhh now I feel SO GUILTY about Wesley ππ I wasn't a fan of his on Buffy, but I am getting a new appreciation for him, now. He seems to actually be a kind and genuine person. This to me is the beauty of Angel. I am getting to see sides of characters that I haven't seen before and it's wonderful!! Imagine putting Cordelia and Wesley, two characters that I'd say a lot of people didn't like at the beginning, together here and we get to know and love them! It's amazing!!

2023-11-28 05:41:03 +0000 UTCWell now you know that Doyle is really gone. :( Unfortunately, the actor, Glenn Quinn, suffered from addiction issues, so they had to let him go. I've heard people say that it was always planned to kill off Doyle regardless, but I'm not sure if that's true or not. He continued to struggle afterwards and sadly died of an overdose a few years later. Wesley has arrived in L.A.! I love him. I know you weren't a fan of his character on Buffy, but I left you a comment saying that at some point he may grow on you. "I already like him more now than I did when he was on Buffy." See, I knew you would warm up to him! haha

2023-11-28 04:10:38 +0000 UTCI love the breakfast scene at the end of the episode. It just feels so homely and accepting. Probably not an environment that Wesley is used to based on the awkward way he tried to grab a piece of toast. Despite all the assistance Wesley provided in Buffy S3, I can't recall any character other than Cordelia who was ever nice to him or appreciated the effort he put in. Sometimes a gesture as simple as letting someone stay for breakfast can mean a lot to someone.

Love the moment at the end when they invite him to stay for breakfast. You can tell he really needed it (both the food and the company). Thanks for another excellent reaction Juliette, you're the best π
