As always, I love seeing Spike again! He brings a bit of evil fun into the mix. AND we see another old friend in this one, too! Very cool episode. Oh, and just an aside... Spike's perpetually chipped nail polish make me feel better about the state of my own nails. Just saying!
I hope you all have a lovely weekend ahead! I have a headache and feeling a bit meh today, so hopefully my Saturday improves. It's 9am so perhaps all I need is another coffee, or two hehe.

It was SO weird to see Harmony! I thought I had got things wrong in the season finale and she didn't actually die. I really did question myself there for a bit🤣 I love Spike, but this episode really highlighted how darn mean he is! I find that amusing how Spike can kill so many people in vicious ways and I laugh it off, and the first time I realise how truly mean he is, is when he is nasty to Harmony 😅

Note how every time he asks Buffy something just a few seconds later he turns it around to be about him. Except when she calls him out, then it's suddenly Buffy misunderstanding things. Spike and Harmony, what a power couple. I will miss Drusilla though. And then there's Xander and Anya. Interesting couple.

2023-10-07 06:44:39 +0000 UTCI remembered to watch the reaction in Chrome. No problems this time. ;) :D This is a great episode. We get Spike back, Anya back, and Harmony back (as a vampire). What more could you ask for? Of course with any upsides, there's also a dreaded downside. In this case, Parker. What a prick! It's fun seeing reactors thinking he's a nice guy and a possible new love interest for Buffy, until the reveal that he's really just an awful player. It takes me back to when I first saw this episode and was thinking they were cute together (until things played out). lol Prior to this episode, Harmony was really nothing more than your basic mean girl. Having her character become a vampire was a fantastic idea. She's just so much fun to watch in her new vamp form. Of course, some people find her annoying, but I personally love her. I do dislike her with Spike though. He's treated her like absolute garbage here. Very different from how he treated Drusilla. The band playing at the frat party is Bif Naked. I was a big fan of them when I was growing up and I have their CD's. :)
