Arsenic and Old Lace - Full Reaction

I watched this movie a few weeks ago but I have been trying to work on uploading it to youtube to get through the copyrights. I think I'm up to edit 16? It will take me some time to work on it to get through the copyright blocks, but I thought I'd at least share the latest attempt so you can watch and enjoy if you'd like!

I absolutely love this movie! It's SO funny and I had a blast watching it.

I'm wanting to do more movie reactions on the channel, but I don't like editing them as it takes me too long. Instead of getting someone to edit the X Files episodes (which I can edit myself in 2 to 3 hours), it will be better if I get someone to do the movies. So, I'm going to see how we go with that 😄

(thumbnail subject to change... it looks too plain haha)

Since you enjoyed this movie and Cary Grant’s performance, I recommend another screwball comedy he starred in called Bringing up Baby. The plot is bonkers, and he brings that same manic comedy energy to it as well. BTW, your favorite line from this movie “insanity runs in my family…it practically gallops” is my favorite too. I always chuckle every time I think about it 😆

Oh that is good to know, thank you! I know you can edit the video on Youtube as well but I don't really like the Youtube editor. Thankfully my TV shows don't get claimed, it was just this movie that was so painful 😆

For YouTube content it’s typically a flat fee per video, but it can vary editor to editor. For these repeated edits to deal with YT complaining take a look at VideoReDo TvSuite. It’s not free but when you need to make small cuts in a video it can do them without rerendering the entire video so you can do a new edit in a matter of seconds.

I found someone on Fiverr that can do the editing and apparently it's guaranteed copyright problem free for the one price. I'm going to give it a try but I will limit it to one a month. I don't want anyone else to edit my Buffy or Dr Who episodes (maybe even X Files) as I have trouble with handing over that control 😅 a movie seems different as I might not be so attached, so I'm a bit more willing to let them prise the files out from my claws!

As someone who knows nothing about the details of hiring an editor I'm wondering, are they paid a set fee to get the video YouTube friendly or are they paid by the hour and the longer it takes to make it YouTube friendly the more they get paid? Because if it's the latter I could see some people making the process longer on purpose.

Hi Juliette, if you want a really good movie to watch. Have a look at "Profile" :) it's on the Australian Netflix.
