I enjoyed this one! A delightful romp through all things gross and hideous. Skin suits are exactly what I needed to see 🤣
Just a quick reminder about the next two weeks worth of Buffy videos as I'm having a small break so the episodes drop down to just one per week for 2 weeks.
June 27th - Season 2 Episode 21
July 4th - Season 2 Episode 22 (finale)
July 9th - POSSIBLY Season 3 Episode 1. If I don't manage to edit it on my break, then it will be out on the 11th of July. I'm pretty sure I will have finished it though as I started working on it this weekend 😄

i really wish Giles had been more attentive when Buffy was explaining how she'd been locked in a carwith a creepo! i get she was framing it as something funny/weird instead of traumatic, but what an awful experience! no spoilers, but i look forward to later in the show when we explore how girls without Buffy's powers are forced to deal with those situations! as well as the "well look at how you're dressed!" type attitudes, and the "she led me on!" rubbish. not a phenomenal episode, but i love Nurse Greenleigh, and the scene with Cordy by the poolside! much love regardless Juliette!

At the same time, I do agree with you and in some ways I am thankfully it was not a heavy episode considering the next two are 😨

2023-06-25 11:47:55 +0000 UTCThe actor playing the swim team member that corners Buffy in the car was one of 2 actors to play Todd Wilkins on the syndicated Sweet Valley High TV show. What's most interesting about that fact is the other Todd has already appeared on Buffy. Season 1 he was Cordy's date that got bashed by the invisible girl. I just find it interesting that both actors appeared on Buffy.

2023-06-24 23:45:22 +0000 UTCFun fact, this was essentially a leftover script from season 1 that was reworked for season 2, I'm assuming more or less to just pad out the required number of episodes. It's pretty widely regarded as one of, if not the, worst ones of the series and the fact you found as many redeeming things about it as you did is just classic Juliette🙂 I will also say that one of its pluses is that it provides a nice lighthearted romp before we head into the last couple episodes of season 2
