Doctor Who Update!

It helps me SO much to know that you are enjoying what I do and it gives me a push to keep going. Editing the episodes can be time consuming and difficult sometimes, and to know that you are enjoying the videos... well, what can I say other than thank you for all of your love and support!
A little update about Doctor Who going forward... I mentioned that I'd like to be more ahead of the YouTube channel and I think we can manage that next week! I've been working hard recording and editing, so next week on Tuesday and Thursday (AEST) we will have episodes 3 and 4 of Doctor Who here! Then continuining on from that, Thursday (AEST) will be our Doctor Who day, which is one week ahead of the YouTube channel.
Ideally, I'd love to get to the point where I can have two episodes per week here like we do with Buffy, but that might take another few weeks or so to get there πΈ
I have also decided to do away with watching the episodes on DVD as I was having a lot of trouble with my external DVD drive. The episodes were jumping in places, so I'd have to rewind that part and it's a bit of a pain to have to join those up for the full edits. The DVD player would also take ages to actually get going and sometimes, it wouldn't even connect. I've signed up to another streaming service so I'll be watching streamed episodes and I think that will solve those issues nicely! The streaming service also has all the specials too, which is great!

With DVD you can use a software like http://www.dvddecrypter.org.uk/ to download the disc contents to your hard drive. This will eliminate any playback issues and you can use simple player like VLC to play it.

So thankfully I have one less thing to stress about now! I'm getting more and more grey by the minute π€£

I don't know this for sure, but I imagine that is more likely to be the increased fps HBO version, and Doctor Who isn't available in the UK on Disney plus. I'm not familiar with Stan but being that the DVDs you brought are at the same frame rate, that lead me to believe we share the same fps format on our digital platforms for series 1-3. I'm happy to hear that I was right. As I said you before in messaging, series 4 is where there is a convergence of fps. So HBO and Disney will then likely match up. π

It might not work for everyone but being in Australia, I don't have access to BBC iplayer so my options are limited π
