Doctor Who 1x01 Rose | Full Reaction
Added 2023-06-11 22:01:00 +0000 UTCThank you to those for giving your feedback on the last post! I just wasn't sure when to post this one as I didn't want to bombard you all with too many posts. I like to have early access uploads for you when I can, as well as the full reactions. I know it's not going to be too ahead of the YouTube upload (this episode is scheduled there for Thursday), but as I only just recorded this one on Friday the 9th, it's quite a new one. I am sure once I get ahead, then we will be more ahead here but it might just take a little while to get up to that level. Thank you for understanding and I really hope you enjoy this first episode!
I have to honestly say this first episode was so much better than I expected. I don't know why I thought this, but I genuinely thought that Doctor Who was a serious sci-fi drama and then lo and behold it's NOT. I spent a good part of the episode absolutely in my element due to the wholesome humour and quirky blend of characters. I think I'm going to LOVE this series so much and I really do hope you do too! I hope it does okay on the YouTube channel as I don't know if anything will be a hit or miss until I try.
A little update about some movie reactions! I don't do a lot of movie reactions, but I am hoping I could at least try and do one per month. I have a movie reaction scheduled for Jules Reacts this coming weekend, and it is Monty Python and the Holy Grail. I am definitely in my "give me good times and laughter" era and really just want something to lose myself with for a little while and make me smile. My next movie reaction after Monty Python should be Arsenic and Old Lace which is a patreon member request! I am not sure when that one will be uploaded, but please give me a few weeks to work on that one.

It just is going to take me a little while to get there as I need to start watching and editing 2 a week to get ahead so it's a slow process 💜

I've been watching Dr Who all my life and personally I consider it all one series with nu-who and classic being one and the same that being said, Rose is the perfect start for you as it is a soft reboot after a long break from the original series. there are callbacks such as the Tardis, and the shop dummies who were an enemy from classic who you don't need to know about them to enjoy the series.

If they go back to Rose's world a day after Rose left, does her mum think she's been missing? If not, where has Rose been? Are there now TWO Roses? What if they go back in time and do something to change the course of the future in a negative way (by accident)? So... now my head hurts trying to work this all out 😅 And the thing is, NO ONE can really answer my questions as time travel isn't a thing! Or is it 🤔? I think it's safer for me to sit back, relax and enjoy the *fantastic* episodes rather than think about how it all works hahaha But yes, it's so wonderful! So much better than I imagined! Silly me, thinking it was a serious drama and not in the least bit funny 😆

You will likely do very well with this show as you appear to 'get it' right off the bat. Lots to discover and plenty of history to be delved into along the way.
