I loved the final 10 minutes! I was naively hoping for a somewhat "happy" ending, and to know that so many of the soldiers went on to live great lives is wonderful! The documentary was everything I wanted, and more 😭

2023-06-01 20:38:08 +0000 UTCThe last 10 minutes are absolutely amazing. The characters become more alive, more real, upon finding out their stories after the war. Damian Lewis does such a great job narrating too, I bet he'd do amazing as an audiobook narrator. It's nice that the series ended somewhat cheerfully. Looking forward to the documentary
