Some great moments in this one! No surprise to most that I enjoyed the part with Giles and Mrs Summers a LOT. It has Giles in it. Enough said π

I'm sorry to hear that π I do wish people wouldn't comment on other peoples appearances. I think more people are generally more aware of that these days but there's still a long way to go π

You are so right! Buffy is SO responsible. In fact, she is, in a way, responsible for EVERYONE at Sunnydale! That is a lot of weight to carry on her shoulders. I just wish that her mum would understand one day. I'm sure it will happen... ONE DAY! But it does make me feel sad for her when so few people understand what she is going through π’

2023-05-29 03:22:36 +0000 UTCCongratulations Juliette, so many people don't catch on to how Buffy spots the vampire in the mall until it's explained to them so I'm glad you figured it out. I feel bad for Buffy getting called irresponsible when she actually shoulders more responsibility than most adults. She's already faced her death to save everyone, what more can be expected right? The Buffy and Angel relationship is heating up for sure. I have a little trouble with romanticizing a 241 year old with a teenager but in the context of the show it works. They have great chemistry and it is beautiful. In the fandom they are known as Bangel. I think Xander is one lucky guy, if you can't have Buffy then Cordilia is one hell of a consolation prize. They are a strange pairing but lots of fun. Loving your journey so far and very happy to be a part of it.

2023-05-28 16:25:53 +0000 UTCThe vampire cowboys are great! But overall this episode is not that good. It is rather ham-handed in dealing with the subject matter. Giles: the Gorch brothers are not big thinkers. Juliette: the Gorch brothers must've planned all this! :-D

They were pretty intelligent, all things considered, and came at Buffy carefully; they didn't just hiss and leap at her. Plus, they were Southerners without being dumb hicks. You go to Texas, and you find real people like that. 'Course, that means there'll likely never be characters like them again. π

If she meant something negative towards someone's race, then obviously that's not acceptable π‘ I have noticed a lot of comments on body shape and size, though having lived through the 90s as a teen, those sorts of comments were very sadly commonplace. It makes me a bit uncomfortable at times so generally any quips about body size and shape, I tend to not leave it in the youtube edits if it's not crucial for it to be there.
