Added 2023-04-05 22:00:03 +0000 UTCI'm not sure if I should make a separate post for this but I'll just say a little bit here in case people read this. Something unexpected has happened in my family so I'm a little bit out of sorts at the moment. I have enough content recorded to keep up with the weekly Buffy and BoB episodes for a couple of weeks and then I'll get back to recording so there shouldn't be any lack of videos, but I may not be as quick in the comments for a little while. Keeping busy with editing and replying to your comments does help, but I might just be a bit slow. Thank you all for your patience and understanding with me during this time ๐
Episode 2 of BoB is here! This one was excellent. We are getting to learn so much more about the characters, and as much as it is harrowing... I have to say, I love it. It's exciting in a way that makes me feel guilty for saying so as the things these incredible people who served had to endure are just... awful.

What I do respect on Speirs (Sparky) his part as being a leader is that did not send someone in his place to take care of non-prisoner situation. I think look from more perspectives. Ideals are peacfull, but war is hell.

I haven't been recording, but I do have editing to do which I have been doing as it keeps me busy and gives me something to focus on, which all helps. The moment with Spiers shooting the prisoners was shocking to me. A few people in the comments said that they weren't allowed to have prisoners, so I guess he didn't have any other choice. I must admit that it has left a sort of sour taste in my mouth towards Spiers, but I will try and remember that he was just doing as instructed and not to worry about it. It couldn't have been easy for him to do that ๐

I wish you all the best. You don't need to reply to this if you read it. In case you were still wondering about the scene where Malarkey comes across the group of German prisoners, they were indeed captured German soldiers. Malarkey was shocked to discover that the soldier he was speaking to was actually born in the states and actually grew up near him. But his family was German and they answered the call when war broke out and returned to Germany to fight for them. As for what happened next, it is implied, but not shown, that Lieutenant Spiers executed them after handing out cigarettes. Spiers was also the soldier that showed up near the end of the assault on the guns and asked if he and his men could take a shot at the third gun. Everyone was shocked to see him running outside of the trench instead of in cover. Don't worry about not knowing names, you will gradually get to know the main characters as the show goes on. And again, don't worry about reactions or us or anything at all other than your family. Also I just remembered today is Easter, so happy Easter as well.
