Ahhhhh guess what? I checked on Steam and saw that Mafia 2 is on sale πŸ™Œ So I'm going to buy that, and I hopefully will start recording when I've finished GTA IV. They are two story heavy games, so I really want to put all my effort into focusing on the one storyline at a time, and play smaller games alongside the bigger ones. It helps this old girl not to get confused πŸ˜…

If you guys know of any smaller games (say, under 5 hours or so) that you'd like to see, please do let me know πŸ’œ We've got Gone Home starting this week which is a smaller game! I've just got to edit it so I'd better get a move on haha!

"Gone Home" hits really hard for me. I'm not a girl nor have I had to deal with confusing identity things like the characters in that game, but I meant more so the 90s nostalgia it gives off. I felt for a brief few hours that I was back in my childhood. Back in an era before smartphones took over and before real adult situations replaced the simply kid choices. All that to say: I am really looking forward to watching all 3 episodes of your GH let's play!!

I’d highly recommend Virginia, it’s about 90 minutes long . The story’s a little abstract since there’s no dialogue, but I really connected with it. The scene transitions are very cool and it has one of my favourite video game musical scores. It’s also obviously a little bit inspired by X Files. Other than that, a lot of FMV games normally last around one and a half to two and a half hours. Five Dates is probably the one which I found the most interesting, just because it’s a romcom which is such an unusual genre for a game. But Erica is probably the highest quality FMV game I’ve played. The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker is also very fun, though runs a little longer. Lastly, the Blackwell series (The Blackwell Legacy being the first) are some excellent point and clicks with great stories about a woman and a 1930s ghost who solve murders. There’s five of them and I think they’re mostly about 3 to 5 hours.
