Oh, that sounds good. I'm glad you're enjoying it and finding a way to play between recording episodes to keep your interest up. I finally have a few free hours today so I think I'll watch the series. I usually like to see all the side missions on games but maybe streamlining it to focus on the story might help me get into it. Thanks :)

I think it all comes down to Deacon and his story and the characters. I definitely have grown to love them, and I want to see good things happen to them as I progress through π

2021-10-15 20:41:14 +0000 UTCWhat I am doing with the playthrough, is that I don't record everything. Side missions for clearing ambush camps and burning zombie nests, I do off camera. This gives me something to do with the game during the week when I'm not recording, and also makes the gameplay to record go quicker because I'm only recording main missions. I think that also makes it more interesting for the viewer ( I hope!) because I'm not just 'wasting time' doing a bunch of stuff on camera that doesn't progress the game!

I was worried and nervous going in because I know it's a long game and I didn't know how much interest it would have on the channel to devote, say, 30 episodes to it. BUT, I have grown to love Deacon and his friend Boozer, and I find myself thinking of them often throughout my day. It does grow on you, or maybe that's just me haha. Whoops, I ended too soon! I've not had time to begin watching it yet but I've tried several times to watch playsthrough of this game before and found I didn't like the characters or find the story very interesting so I never got past the first four hours or so. I want to like it, that's why I tried so many times to watch it. I'm thinking you will make it more fun but I would like to hear what you think so far. Are you having fun with it? I hope so.
