If you want to read a great book about serial killers, try Programmed to Kill by David McGowan.

Looking forward to buying an ActionBoyz branded fleshlight

I picked Stanger up at Main Street station. Weird that he skipped the Quantico Amtrak stop. He wants to know “is Hannibal Lector a Stoic?” I think because of the Marcus Aurelius quote?

Ron Don Volante

or for that matter that Jame Gumb happened to live in Mrs Lippman's old house.

No Silence of the Hams mentions.

Hopkins’ performance is pure camp. Natural for comedians to be drawn to it.

The movie certainly has memorable lines, but I would guess that the main reason why comedic people like the movie is that it is very fertile ground for impersonations. The three primary actors all have unique accents and mannerisms that are very fun to mimic. As a young kid, even before I saw the movie (or even knew what the fuck I was talking about) I was reciting the fava beans line to my friends.

Do you like fake voices? I like em. I think theyre funny and stuff.

John Blood

I never liked the coincidence that Lector personally knew Jame Gumb

The “Goodbye Horses” singer died this summer and I thought this look at her life was really interesting. It says there’s a doc she was involved with that will be out next year. https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/q-lazzarus-diane-luckey-goodbye-horses-dead-obituary-1234577321/

Stanger question: Do you think Hannibal Lecter used a fake voice when he called the FBI reception and asked for Clarice Starling? What voice do you think he used?

David Bauer

Oh yeah, there’s definitely pictures of food and shit on her dress

I just watched the Hitcher for the first time over the weekend and thought the same thing. I loved it. It’d be perfect for Octooky.

Speaking of movies moms love, I finally watched The Hitcher with Rutger Hauer, a movie my mom has mentioned with high praise several times throughout my life. I finally took her up on it and I feel comfortable recommending it to ABZ fans. Horror/thriller, engaging and frustrating, Rutger is a creep. Pretty good.

Remember business cards? Did you guys ever have business cards or like keep stacks of them like that?

Max Aguirre

I’ll ask this in Stangers absence: Did you guys think that guys hamburger face looked tasty?
