Scott’s aesthetic and score really framed the emotions Snipes was going through while seamlessly tying the narrative with De Niro’s boiling pot all in a similar tone. Creates a cool connection that exists in all the in-between moments. Also when you think about a rich athlete hot shot athlete character needing to feel vulnerable and empathetic to us while also making us fully believe he is a fucking star… idk, pretty good filmmaking moments.
