Right, SMBS has been getting a lot of my attention recently and it's time to redress the balance. I'm going to be throwing myself at Blackthorn mostly for a while, so fair warning that Chapter 8 of SMBS may not be out for another 6 - 8 weeks ish. If that wait is too long then there's no shame in stepping away from your subscription until I publish the next chapter.

SMBS Chapter 6

Realized I've been pretty much silent about smbs chapter 6 while I was working to get the Blackthorn release sorted. My ball park for releasing this is somewhere between 21 - 28th of this month. I've got approx 30 pages complete and post-worked. I think this chapter will be longer than the previous ones, so we're aiming for maybe 90 - 110(?) roughly. As you can see we're having a location change for this chapter, and probably a few after it.

Blackthorn V0.02c(stable version)

Okay, here are the download links to the stable version of v0.02c. To be honest, it's almost exactly the same as the BETA as I didn't get any bug reports. I did fix and open up a couple of really insignificant options that I closed off for the beta. If you do stumble across any problems let me know and I'll fix them asap.

BLACKTHORN v0.02c(BETA)

Alright, this update I've extended the Priscilla scene so that (1) there are new options in the "forgiving" route through the scene, and (2) she can be less forgiving if you prefer that, (3) I've added a disposal animation for those with that switch turned on, and (4) added a whole stack of different ways through the scene, so leaving at any point and then returning will trigger different dialogue and sometimes different options too.

Roadmap for Blackthorn

First up, don't worry, this isn't a bad news post.

The last couple of updates I created for Blackthorn have convinced me I need to have something of a rethink how I'm making the game, especially in terms of the loops and cutscenes that I'm including.

The main issues:

1) V0.02b added a whole gigabyte to the game's size, bringing us up to about 2.6 gb total. I haven't even finished the Priscilla scene, let alone added new animations for her daughter, and we're really only j...

BLACKTHORN V0.02b (BETA)

Alright, first things first, I'm calling this a beta as only I've bug tested it, and while I think the new scene runs okay in its various iterations and scat settings, I can't be certain before bug reports start coming in. If you're encountering problems direct message me and I'll fix them asap.

Jill and Claire personal animation project

Here's something I've been working on in the background during the evenings recently. It's not perfect, and I've not added sound yet, but it's the first part of a planned (short) animation series. I'm hoping to give the girls a pleasant evening together by the fire. This is just a personal project for funsies, and I'll release everything publicly as I go along.

Quick Update and Poll

Okie-dokie, so Ada won(?) the last poll and was rewarded with an up close and personal experience with Lady Dimitrescu's back passage. Fun times. But Claire and Jill both got a lot of support in that poll, so I wanted to give them both a guaranteed position in my next resident evil ass worship image. Okay, this one I think has the potential to be quite divisive. We'll see. More than anything else I hope you enjoy the animation, which took a crazy amount of work to pull together. I'm setting myself the challenge to get the alternate ending for this scene animated and added to the game within 4 weeks from Monday (I'm not working on Blackthorn the rest of this week). My bug tester has pointed out a few minor bugs, but nothing that should hamper your ability to play through the scene. And... ...

Oh yes, I should probably announce the result of the Lady Dimitrescu poll. Ada takes the win with over a third of the total votes, second place is claire, Jill a surprising third after faring so strongly on patreon, and, poor Rebecca, just 10% of the votes. I'll get started on the image at some point over the weekend most likely.

So, on something of a whim I just bought some Resident Evil assets. At some point over the next couple of weeks I'll make an ass worshipping image with Lady Dimitrescu in the role of Dom, but the subby slave I'll leave up to my patrons / subscribers. I spent the morning putting together the room environment in Daz3d, trying to keep as close to the rpg maker tile set as I'm able.
